Why verification is necessary

Identity confirmation

Verification is a way to confirm that you are a real person and not a fake account or someone pretending to be another. This is especially important in the professional travel photography community, where reputation and trust play a key role.

Verified badges on PhotoTravel appear next to the profile’s name. This shows that we have confirmed that an account is the authentic presence of the creator, public figure or global brand it represents and helps people more easily find the accounts they wish to follow.

Event and activity organization

PhotoTravel users can post announcements about events:

• photo tours
• master classes
• expeditions

If the event is commercial (i.e., it involves paid participation), it can only be published from a verified account.

PhotoTravel is not involved in the organization or payment of these events and does not guarantee their execution, so verification is an important element of trust between users.

Selling limited edition prints

In future updates, the project will launch a service for selling exclusive photo prints. They will be offered both on the platform itself and through interior designers on a separate external platform. To sell prints under your own name, verification will be required.
